I have a BRCC, and have installed the Typhon RPM a-arms and Typhon turnbuckles. I don't think I need more width. That being said, do the majority of people run 12mm or 17mm hexes? I won't be running anything larger than a 2.8 tire, so I am leaning towards 12mm. I'm curious if anyone can make a strong case one way or the other. I'm also curious if a large number of people stick with the 14mm and use something like the Duratrax offerings. I haven't used tires from them before and am not sure if their quality is on par with the likes of Pro-line. Thanks!

I use 14mm Duratrax. Their quality is maybe not as good as proline, but it is good. For the lock-ups, traction may not be quite as brutal as the MX2.8 I have on the other truck, but it is still very good, and the tires are lighter. I do like Proline foams better, though.
