I am just getting ready (plucking up the courage) to swap the RX in my granite so I can swap the Spectrum for a Radiolink... I have watched a few videos and understand that channel 1 is steering and channel 2 is throttle.

however, do the plugs always go in the same way round ? Is there a way to check which wire does what ? the instructions show which pin is ground, vcc and signal (not sure what each actually does, although I guess that’s not important) Are these wires standard colours for example so I know the correct orientation ?

many thanks.

Someone will chime in with more info I’m sure, but don’t be afraid of putting them in backwards by accident. Just make sure when sliding onto the pins it’s straight. When you fire it up to test you’ll either get a response or nothing, indicating that you did it right or wrong.

I'm pretty sure most all radios are same. I just uploaded a video with a radiolink radio. 6 channel. impressive radio for the money.

1 to turn (steering)
2 to burn (throttle)
Black out (black or brown wire to the edge, light color to the middle)
