Hello,
I have a new brushless motor and controller.
The controller comes with a larger connector than what my battery has.
I need an adapter and I hope one is available. I'M EAGER TO BUY! Gotta get this thing back on the dirt.
Most appreciated...see below pics.
Mark.

Pic of controller spec.

Here is the battery spec in this pic.

You didn’t post a question, but the small one is an EC3 connector, and the large orange one is EC5/IC5.

Sorry razorrc, it seemed to of gotten cut off from the bottom.
My question was:
1. Can I purchase an adapter to get these connected?
2. Part number if available?
Appreciate the help.
Mark.

Radio Control Power is also an option.

Thanks for the reply to my connector dilemma, but I believe the big orange connector is an XT60.
Found this but not sure...

is this the correct part?
Thank you for your help!
Mark.

Like 10 people told you what you have and what you need, but you don’t believe them…

Yeah you should buy that adapter. And I hope you don’t believe me again.

If you look at the orange connector in your original pictures, you will notice a small pin slot between the 2 larger ones. That smaller pin is used with smart chargers. It is an “ic-“ series connector. There is compatibility between ic and ec series connectors, except for the smart charging provision. The blue connectors are “ec” series.
The smaller blue connector is an ec3, the larger orange connector is an ic5. You can use ec series connectors to adapt the two. The third pin on the orange connector does nothing for you, it is only useful when charging smart batteries (with the orange style connector) on a smart charger, with the orange type connector.
People are just trying to help. Don’t overthink it.
Or just take both pieces to the local hobby shop (LHS) and they can hook you up.
You have an ec3 battery hooking up to an ic5 device. Honestly, you could also just buy a new battery, or have the LHS solder on the correct connector for you. But then you have to be sure you can charge it too.

Thx Reverendg. I took your advice and went to Fast Track Hobbies, my local shop, and got the needed adapter. I'm into learning the details, so your answer was very useful.
BTW, the single adapter cable was alot cheaper than buying 3 seperate items (3rd item is a charger adapter).
