Hey guys I'm considering buying a used Fazon, the cost is just under $350. My concern is part availability because of the Traxxas lawsuit...what is everyone's thoughts on the idea? Is the Fazon worth it or should I just get a new Kraton?

Depends on where you are driving it. I have both a Nero (vwrsion of Fazon) and it is heavier so it eats up bumps, the Kraton is a great basher if you want 40ft plus jumps.

Part availabiity really isn' an issue, most of the parts are now made by 3rd part companies. I am not worried about finding parts for the Nero line.

Of course it depends of the state it's in but it looks like a good deal, but I'm used to the prices in Europe ;).

I would suggest seeing the outcome of the Hobbico bankruptcy first before investing in Nero line.

I found out about the whole hobbico-Traxxas thing back around thanksgiving...

Immediately bought a nero and everything to build a fazon.

Go for it if you can find one. Spare parts are still plentiful and they sold enough that the 3rd party market will be making things for the foreseeable future.
