So I orginally did this to my Senton. (1st pic) Looked great but wasn't practical. Tires hit the body too much etc.

I prefer buggy's anyway so I made a hybrid Typhon. I used the same Team associated extended hubs so I didn't have to buy new arms or dog bones. And I bought a body, body mounts and wing which all came in one package for $50 shipped.

The only modification I had to make was to drill the upper hole for the rear body mounts. Easy peasy.

Looks fantastic! This is pretty much exactly what I'd like to do with my Senton. So if I'm getting this right I only need to:

Buy the Typhon body, body mounts, wing, wing mount and switch them out for what's currently on the truck?

Then: If I want more width add the AE hexes. What about those bumpers?

@Fallguy
Forgot to ask in my previous post if there are any downsides to using the hex extenders vs longer arms?

And I bought a body, body mounts and wing which all came in one package for $50 shipped.

Could you please post a link to this? Been looking around for this set but have come up empty handed. Thanks!

So far no issues with the hexes after 5' jumps. The bumpers are t bone racing bumpers for the senton. I switched them and put the front bumper on the rear and rear on the front.

Fantastic! Thank you so much for posting all this great info. ???? My biggest pet peeve about the Senton 6s is all the debris that collects in the chassis every time I run it. Plus, buggies are so much more aerodynamic.

You're welcome. Yeah I hear ya. The wider wheel hubs keeps it more planted too. Senton traction rolled a lot.
