For our next display, we have ā€œUnfortunately, metal upgrades donā€™t add valueā€

A very nice build but slash and 2k donā€™t below in the same sentence šŸ˜‚

There's no way he has anything close to that in that thing.

Maybe $1,300 tops including misc stuff, tax and shipping.

I have a box containing several hundred dollars worth of old aluminum STRC shock towers and Traxxas aluminum bearing carriers, links, etc. Unfortunately, many of these parts are broken, bent, or otherwise unusable. Additionally, several of the attached plastic parts broke after I installed the aluminum components. As a result, I have replaced all of the aluminum bits with plastic RPM or Traxxas HD parts.

I've been wanting to try the new Extreme Duty kit for my Slashpede.

They have taken a beating and keep on going in my 2wd LCG Slash. I have em on 2 of my 3 drag slashes also but those don't get abused like this rig, and the HD drag slashes are also in roller form for the past 12 months lol.

I didn't even know they made an Extreme HD kit for the 2wd last I checked they just had the HD parts as I'm running the green HD Traxxas arms on the rear of my Rustler, I only went Rpms in the front because Traxxas doesn't make any offset compensating arms for it. I always hated that the Rustler, Stampede and Slash required different offset wheels front and rear.

Yeah, my 2nd Rustler with the stock chassis (I got after I LCG Slash converted that other one) still has the RPM arms. The Traxxas HD plastic is stiff and barely flexes compared to the RPM stuff for the same cars. I only upgraded that LCG Slash from RPM to Traxxas to try them out, and because my RPM ones were pretty beat up and scratched from all the skate park bashing I did in the first year or two back in the hobby.

These little 2WD Rustlers are wheelie machines. I can keep it on the bars for quite a ways if I can start the wheelie straight in the middle of our 3 lane road.

Sometimes really good deals on FB marketplace. Gotta be fast as people recognize the item being sold is way below market price. Thus, pressure for impulsive purchase...something I don't need but its really good value for money.

Deal or NO Deal..

That's an awesome deal. It even has the snout. Prone to bearing failure under high boost, otherwise an excellent supercharger. Developed exclusively for Mopar by a company here in the USA that specializes in turbines for hydro power & combustion engines, it's been tested by Mopar to over 200k miles without failure under normal boost before they put it into production. Excellent power adder. As long as the liners aren't worn, that's a steal.

And I didn't Google that. That was from memory. I nearly purchased one last year & the conversion/installation bolt on kit for my 5.7 Hemi. At 7-8psi it would have made around 515hp, crank, IIRC, with the stock 5.7 cam.
