For those of you who want to use the stock receiver box but need More internal storage space to house additional electronic components / cables / Y-splitters / wiring harness or anything else you may need for your rigs ,in a compact ,dustproof & water resistant compartment that doesn't take up anymore footprint than the OEM Arrma Receiver Box unit..

I humbly present the Modular ESR for your consideration.

Great design! So the oem receiver lid with seal and original screws fit on that? Or longer screws needed?

That is correct.
OEM lid goes on top and utilizes the original screws to seal upper section..

Four additional (longer) M2.5 screws will be needed to secure this unit to the stock receiver base. (18mm - 20mm L )

Once the prototype is printed ,I will confirm/validate the necessary length of screws.

You put a lot of thought and engineering into that piece to get it just right! Really nice results Tex!

Thank you sir.

I definitely want to make sure the unit can seal up properly against the original OEM parts.
Makes for better dust & water proofing once assembled.

I want one! or 4 :ROFLMAO:

Great stuff tex! I actually just gave you a shoutout in one of our videos from a few days ago for that jota splitter (y)
There was just a post the other day about this. Old boy’s receiver box looked like he was linked to NASA. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣

Ooooh.. Yes!
Please, point me the way.

Which of your awesome videos was it?

@Moirae
Very Cool! 👊
Thank You for the shout out. 🙏

And just a note-
That particular splitter is Not 3D printed.
It's a solid piece of ABS plate (3.0mm thickness). Similar to 1:1 engine covers, door panels etc.

To bad she didn't add a space to your name!! :ROFLMAO:

It's all good.
Next time 👍

Or Perhaps I should get rid of the space between my name...?

Oh wow I totally thought it was 3d printed! maybe thats why it's so good then!! :ROFLMAO:

It was designed in CAD and prototyped in 3D..
(& the winglets are 3D printed. They would have cost a small fortune if I had had them injected molded..)

But, the final splitter itself was CNC-ed from solid ABS plates.

From last night..

Slightly off in dimensions.

Made some adjustments.
Along with raising the upper portion.. by another 4mm.

Much closer to final..
But still a tad off in rear base screw holes.
Prefer to have direct Drop-in alignment.

Is the outside gonna fit in the chassis tray? It's pretty tight there.
