I'm an odd one, I'm on the look out for a decent glass top table for battery storage and charging. Just seems safer in my head!

Looks nice but it's wood on wood. Not something I would do for charging Lipos.

Glass table-I just ordered an office chair mat made out of glass. Might want to look into that, fairly cheap and sturdy. Amazon

Glass would be good. If there is going to be a fire or explosion I want maximum destruction for maximum insurance reimbursement. All of my flammables are stored above my chargers too. Didn’t really plan it that way. Maybe I should relocate them now that I think about it.

Slight wrinkle in your plan, high chance that insurance will NOT cover this type of fire or with limited coverage.
Worth the risk?
You could easily adress risk just by adding some cheap tiles around the area.
