I decided that I wanted to do a custom build to showcase the Hotdog Customs line of carbon fiber parts and accessories as well as some custom one-off pieces just to show off a bit.
Other than the Hotdog Customs carbon fiber and Titanium parts, I will be using Arrma and Hot Racing components as well as Hobbywing 3s power.
The goal is to build a lightweight GT road car that is reasonably fast and fun to drive!
So the foundation of the build is a custom 260mm (same as the Kyosho Fazer Lwb.) wheelbase carbon fiber with red Kevlar chassis. I will be using a Deltaplastiks Panoz body, which fits this chassis perfectly:
I decided to use the Arrma 13/43 front and rear differentials and 46t center differential as well as the Limitless suspension to fit nicely under the Deltaplastiks body.
Hotdog Customs carbon fiber shock towers, steering top plate, steering rack, steering tabs, which are all available for sale, as well as a custom servo mount with carbon fiber and red Kevlar stand-offs to match the chassis and a two piece carbon fiber upper chassis which will also serve as a mounting point for the Hobbywing ESC:
So I did finish this build and I am very happy with the final product! This car looks and drives amazing. Lots of fun to drive and I canāt wait to get it on the track to see how it does.
