I've made a center brace out of the under barrel bar thingy from a bb gun. Then a brace that goes on the chassis that probably did zero. All the time! My favorite is my home made pivot balls from 4mm clear tubing. Stock pivot balls don't last and when knew are super fiddly to fit. These fit snug but easy to lign up and they last.

Second that! Pics because that's a common issue. I used Hot Racing pivot balls but after a few runs they add wear to the rod ends and you're back to slop.Do you have some pictures? That's awesome

Use wrapOh yea that looks clean i got to get my hands on some CF tubing it would look cool over the cvd shaft or a tierod
