With the X-axis gantry all the way up (max. Height = 270mm)..

The filaments won't have any chance of rubbing against (or getting twisted / tangled with) the Z-axis Syncho Belt ;with the filament-sensor at this location.

We'll see if I like to keep it here or try one last position that I'm thinking about..
>> Off to the side of the X-axis tensioner knob..

Everytime I check this thread out Tex is allways making something cool.👍😁
How's that extendo build coming out ? Have you even been on it lately? Hope so.😁👍

No I haven't..
Just because I've been working on Other People's Projects And trying to get my printer(s) up to snuff -to what will ultimately help me get -More- higher quality parts produced (Hopefully!)...
Not so easy when you consider I need to print things AND modify/tweaking the printer ,at the same time...

I'm just Very particular about how I want something done(made)..

I hear ya bud..I'm sure when you get around to it you'll post new updates.just letting you know I'm watching and I and others would like to see that build running...I myself am still working on Big Papa long Rock.💪I started working on customizing and modifying the big rock body cover but kinda put it away for a bit because I'm now more interested in two other covers I'm working on.one for speed runs and another for street play and the BRcc cover will be more for show .and I still haven't even started putting in the castle combo in it yet lol..it's all good we got plenty of time to finish.😁👍

It's been a bit..
I know ,I know.. I'm as slow as watching damn toe nails grow..

But I have been thinking about how to enhance this printer some more..
Going to relocate the Z-Probe (CR Touch) to another location
1. To give better measurements for bed mesh (by providing a Zero Y offset) And
2. To allow me to try to install a Voron-like Dual Fan -Parts Cooler which will hopefully provide Better prints and
3. allow me to see the nozzle better also.

First, disassemble and remove the stock backplate/fan shroud ,then relocate the Z-Probe

Okay.
So I finished Re-installing the new Upgraded Hotend assembly back into my Sprite Extruder and back onto the printer's X-carriage.

>> All went well <<
I did not brick my printer! 🎉
Now have the new Features available on my S1.

I'm feeling Good..
So I got kind of frisky thinking I can do ONE more upgrade before I go about running the PID tunes and calibrations.. knowing that I want to push this printer up to ~250mm/s mark..

By changing out the stepper motors to something bigger...

*** Do NOT try this ***

(More details & photos to come.. I need to sort all the pics first.)
