  1. BigRock 4x4
Hello,

I saw there is alot of experience on this forum, and since a few week i have an arrma big rock 4x4 blx and after having some startup issues with the slipper clutch getting loose i now damages the spur gear.

I am curious what could be the reason since it damaged in a strange way in my opinion.

The truck is second hand and had already a 20t pinion installed, and it doesn't have an adjustable motor mount (yet).

Thanks already

I would say a small rock most likely got in the module.. they can be sealed off.. alot of debris is funneled into that area and it fills rather quickly.. ?

looks to me like the grub screw on the shank of the pinion ground out the spur.

I personally cannot imagine how this should have happened.

About the small rocks could be possible because there was plenty where i drove that day, only after some jumps the noise started.
