Decent wheels and tires for typhon

I don’t see how one could go through any tires in 5-6 packs if their decent tires. Unless your doing burnouts only!

So these tires do the job just fine I guess. Although I was really hoping for a little more air control with the bigger tires, nope it’s the same... not much at all. Funny I see guys with the 4s typhoon bone stock doing back flips. What’s up with that???

Any insight would be appreciated

4s is half the weight and easier to get around. 6s can do it but I found a smaller pinion for quicker wheel speed worked better. Then again I enjoy the long straight flights I can accomplish with the 6s...

What do you mean by tarmac, road concrete?
asphalt

I vote for Badlands, I run them on my TLRT and on anything offroad other than a prepped track surface they are pretty amazing. I bought a set used from a member on here and I have ran quite a few packs through them and they look no worse for wear. For road use I swap on a set of Hoon's and have been happy with how they are holding up.

Duratrax Bandito C2 Tires on Typhon S3, 11.1V Lipo 100C
Ultimate Racing Shock Oil 500 CST in the rear, 600 front. Otherwise still stock adjustments and stock gear oil. Doing that tomorrow while its raining.
(on my 6S's shocks I did 1x2x8 F/R pistons with 600/500 CST F/R oils; on stock tires but all we did was bash the grass at the park till i spun a bearing - was much less bouncy)

Much better cornering, bit soft and mushy. Its been years since I last built and adjusted a rc car, boy have things progressed!
