I just searched for the GT3b hack. Sounds pretty cool. 63 model memory!? Holy crap! I guess I was out of the game when all this was going on. Not sure what I was thinking when I bought 2 of them 10 years ago but actually glad I did. Hobby king still has recievers for under $10 a piece too.

Yea lol the hack adds a lot of cool features that are standard nowadays

White lettering looks cool. Depending on how/where you drive,might last a while.

Yes sir got a decal kit from Mac’s custom decals & prints on the way! I have a couple more things for the body to help it not look so bland

Telemetry and 2 way communication are a couple things I can think of. I personally have no need for tons of model memory, I only have my Xmaxx and my Baja 5b right now as far as land vehicle go.

And uhhh I’ve decided to shelf the xmaxx, it’s going to be only for show. I may build a 2nd one for cheap to drive and bash, I’m also looking at possibly picking up a Talion EXB and running the wider Felony Hoons on all fours

With the xmaxx I realized I’m at a point where I’m having more fun building RCs than driving them, I started flying heli’s and I’m trying to improve my flight skills. Still have to finish building my gas airplane but it’s not as simple as cars

Maybe if I get a Talion I’ll get back to driving but I know first thing I’ll do is convert it to 8S

That's cool bro, flying interests me but I'd have to travel to use it so, no bueno for me.
Talion 8s sounds crazy for me. I only bash at home so honestly a 6s rig has more speed than I need. My bro bought a talion exb late last year. I don't think he's ran it yet. Waiting for better weather to bring out to my place I think.

I’m lucky to have a RC airfield nearby and all the guys bring out their large scale planes it’s really cool to see and dang I bet he’s eager to run that beast!

These Treal gear covers were on sale and I had my eye on them, 7075 aluminum is pretty nice to have. They’re surprisingly lightweight

I switched to JBI RC nuts they do feel a bit heavier than the RC monsters but are so much easier to get a wrench on. I always slip the wrench of the RC Monster nuts I don’t get why they made them so shallow. The JBI ones feel very secure

Gonna try out these LED longboard wheels, they’re a bit big and heavy so I’ll likely switch back when the novelty of them lighting up wears off

My wallet would cry I have spent too much it wouldn’t even be enjoyable. I got a buddy with a beater xmaxx needs electronics and wheels but is otherwise complete and I know I can grab it for cheap

So I went back to Spektrum, I have a DX3 and DX2E I just happen to like the DX2E more so I’ll be rolling with it. I already put on a integy wheel, grip tape, speedometer and Bluetooth modules.

The speedometer is discontinued but I managed to locate one of the last ones

Today I started with the max5 I put a team brood fan cover on it and cable sleeves to match the ones on the motor

Treal diff covers went in nicely and I applied graphics to the body. Not sure if I mentioned it but I ditched the junk RPM body savers in favor of the Traxxas version

Just a fewwwww things left to do until it’s complete. A few parts are still in shipping and I’m waiting on the M2C center driveshaft to be released soon

Not much to update this week I switched to a powerhobby fan, the YR fan was just too loud

My vitavon gear cover showed up. It took quite a bit of modifying to get it to clear my WFO pinion and M2C motor mount
