Hey guys. I have a 2016 granite blx I got used. First time doing maintenance inside the diff on this guy.

I opened it up and is there grease inside the actual diff?? Or is it just old fluid that got all gooey??

I emailed arrma but they were no help. The comparison sheets on arrma-rc site say it’s mineral grease? I’d rather use fluid but will it leak?

Have you tried a mid to high viscosity mineral oil? I tried grease before on my diffs but it eventually gets gooey when dirt goes in or gets too hot and it’s life is almost gone . I also tried those dry white silicone grease. So far I haven’t had any issues with my talion. Hope it works for your RC.

Well I tried 10k in the diff and it’s leaking out. Kinda what I thought. I will try a new gasket cause the fluid seems to be leaking out of the cap side.

Is there anything else I’m missing?

Kinda hard to see in the pic but there’s fluid at the bottom
