LSD’s are not all that, if you ask me. The bigger pins are a plus, but I prefer the 31mm diffs and the ability to tune them with different fluid viscosities. If I were a track guy, I might like the LSD’s, but for bashers I’ll take the “old” open diffs any day.
Many would disagree, I’m sure.

I run the new 29mm diffs with ring washers instead of LSD plates. The best of both worlds.

I like the abbreviation for the diffs, it brings back warm memories of my youth.
You and I had very different youths. That or rwd stick shifts also bring you warm fuzzies.

I think the newer LSD diffs are better due to having larger internals, but I run mine in open mode on almost all my rigs. On a side note if the old originals are shimmed correctly and tuned with your favorite oil they are just as good I believe 👍🏼 on a second side note the Corally diffs are better than both the Arrma versions in my opinion and it’s a shame they won’t fit in Arrma’s..!!😎

what are ring washers and what do they do

Sounds line @RC Steve has been in the matrix before!!!
lol
😂

My youth predates the popularity of pills. All we had was pot, acid, low grade beer, and Ozzi.

Back on subject, I just broke a cross pin in my rear 29mm diff. The Vitavon gear that sits on top of it doesn't even have a scratch on it. Vitavon diff gears are a recommended product.
