Kraton Diff shimming?

8mm x 10mm shims..any brand will work..?.. stay in the .1 and .2 range though..✌
 
You only need extra shims if you have play. Over-shimming will do more damage due to binding.
List of shims with alternates, no you don't need all of them.
Get the Mugen set and some for the outdrive as you will bend some when re-installing.

There should be a shim behind each gear, that is how it should come from the factory. So yes, shimming is a must but doesn't mean you cram the diff full with shims. Additional are only needed if there is too much play, mainly on the outside of the diff.
Some folks have found out the hard way that more is not necessarily better.
