Typhon Differences between TyphonS 6S?

Hi folks,

I was tempted by a Typhon 6S for the type of car, size and potential power, but I see 3 different versions, and I'm not sure of what changes between them...
For what I can see there are precisely:
  • 1/8 Typhon 6S TLR tuned 4x4 RTR (+- 1,160AUD),
  • 1/8 Typhon 6S 4x4 RTR (+- 900AUD),
  • 1/8 Typhon 6S TLR tuned 4x4 Roller (+- 780AUD).
I get the "RTR" are ready to run, so fully equipped and assembled, but what brings this "TLR Tuned" thing?
Is the "Roller" in parts and needs to be assembled? And considering the prices, they are also significantly different as well.

Typhon 6S TLR has Losi “race inspired” adjustability in suspension/alignment, shocks, and 7075 alloy.

The roller needs all electronics purchased/installed.

BLX/V5 is just an RTR designed buggy basher, 6061 alloy and no toe/caster adjustability. Subtle Wheels/tire/body differences

I learned one thing already: TLR => Team Losi Racing (or something like this).

Definitely puts some light on the range, thanks.
I guess my choice will be on the "regular RTR". as I'm only planning to bash around, so having a "racing" optimized car would be wasted.
I would have liked a "naked" non-TLR though, to be able to choose my electronics but that's probably slightly above my level already. I only have upgraded a basic Fury to a 3s.

I've seen some Typhon which had protections in front of the rear arms (rear mud guards I think), is it useful or more cosmetics?
I've also seen some who added a front bumper coming from other Arrma cars, so the mounting/screws are in the same positions?
 
I heard the chassis alone is worth it, and the shocks are way better. Replace the hinge pins which cost next to nothin, and you have a rig to be proud of. 🔥 🇺🇸 . The towers are sweet as well. 🏁 . The TLR version adds a lot to the Typhon, by far. It's way more versatile. 🏁 .
 
No. Asking the question as iv seen it stated by others previously.
I get it. The Typhon is a great basher, nice low center of gravity. Will not body roll much. Not a monster truck either way. I went with the TLR because I liked the parts on it. Cost a bit more. Just the chassis alone was enough for me. 🔥 . Have fun choosing. 🎯 .

Waiting for TLR chassis from Jenny's. The OG v5 didn't make it.
 
I started with a 4s battery, but quickly went 6s. All I can say is WOW. If you runner in its turf, it will blow you away. Needs, very short grass, dirt, Ect. Racetrack. Lower to the ground, hence a buggy. A very stout buggy at that. Good luck. 🇺🇸
 
TLR typhon is one of my favorite Arrma’s. Just an amazing buggy, I got the roller but put in stock RTR electronics. Solid car.
