different body options

I'm starting this thread to see everyone's different outcast bodies they fitted. I have the panel truck body and today I'm going to post my progress on making aluminum shock tower extenders so I can use proline emaxx/tmaxx body screw with the square posts. I should have it done by tonight so make sure to check back. I will post pictures of the parts I'm going to use first and progress along the way. I hope someone can use this or modify it so it helps them out.

This is the proline body posts and the shock towers from an t/e maxx. Notice how they are square not round. Makes them way stronger.

Fitted a kraton body 2 my outcast fits great even tho the outcast has a shorter wheelbase. C10 got retired after last time at the track lol. Got a summit body for the kraton and threw the stock body on the outcast to c how it looked and I liked it so it stayed for a little bit lol.

Took forever but the front is complete and it looks sick. I threaded the aluminum in the back and in the bottom front holes so I'm not depending on the plastic to hold it tight and I can use lock tight. Now for the back!!

Front looks so good with the proline screw caps and now it's so strong with the aluminum and square posts!! I will get the rear done tonight so stay tuned in.

Took all night but got it done. I'll probably get the pieces I made powder coated but not till I make a servo mount next weekend.

Looks so sick with body screw and I'd like to see them break considering they are only half an inch long. Hope everyone likes it.

Ok so this is the next step. Got a drill press today so I can finish the servo mount. I'm going to keep the front and back plates square for more support. Should be finished by the weekend. I need to wait for my snap on guy. My 3mm tap broke.

I really don't know. We get it at the shop for fixing trailers. We've been using it for structural repairs and fabrication for a long time so i didn't even question it

do you kno or the thickness I need to get a way to get material raw for fab. Once my cnc mill gets here I'm really gonna need materials. I went and talked to the company I used to work for and I'm waiting to hear back on what the minimum order I can place. I need t420 stainless and 6061 aluminum also looking for c.f. in its raw form at a reasonable price.

I get any thickness I want. Usually I use 1\8" but if there is room I go 3\8" on the servo mount the front I'm doing one size and the back is another just cause its what fits in the space it's going.
