does anyone know how selling a car to a hobby shop works

so title says it all im trying to find out how to get a newer better arrma with the fact im younger than the average hobbyist in this hobby im a teen so does anybody know how that would work thanks

Yeah if they actually do buy it from you, expect to get next to nothing for it.

Sell it on a local Facebook group, Craigslist or Ebay.

It’s like a pawn shop. They have costs, they need to make something for it to be worth their while too. Try to decide on a figure you’d settle for, but don’t expect offerup pricing

I sold 7 cars on Craigslist this year alone, like said above don't sell to a hobby shop, they will offer you squat. Ebay is not much better especially after all the fees.

A place near me will sell your car on consignment for you at your price and they will keep 30% unless you agree to spend it all there.
