Hi,

I was wondering if anyone is using double sided rubber sealed bearings for their diffs? As I‘m running in a very sandy/dusty area I already bought double sided rubber sealed bearings for the wheels, but I‘ve read their disadvantage is more friction, so I’m not sure if running them in diffs is a good idea? Does anyone have experience doing this?

I'm running rubber sealed bearings from Avid all around in my Kraton. Don't really notice any difference . If your into speed runs and getting the max speed , I would not use them , but for general bashing they work fine.

I remove the inner seals on bearings in my diffs. This way, grease finds its way inside to help lubricate the balls.
