30/34 is where I would start. No more than one pass at a time and keep an eye on temp

Well this has been a fun read. Here’s some real world info
Car runs 114mph on 8s and 98mph on 6s

limitless with tp 5650 1440kv in stock location on 1/5 motor mount
Mamba 8s and ripple killer 8s cap pack
Geared overdrive 36pinion/34spool spur
Only tested on rubber tires

here’s the first 2 passes

first pass was on 4s and hit 2.700 @ 54mph
Second pass on 6s with way more wheel spin and hit 2.750 @ 60mph

my gearing seems explosive down low. Any smaller pinion will just result in more wheelspin.

You are geared way to high for 132ft. I'm running 28p46spur, running 2.1 @ 70-71mph pulling just over 3gs

Speed in the 132ft is a fine line between dead hooking and wheel speed while still pulling. These were three differrent passes
1st pass was hottest asphalt temp.. and asphalt temp got cooler as the evening went..

2.11 looks good. I have a infraction converted to a limitless body with a kraton 8s , experimenting with gearing I think 32/46 now. With foams I got this

34 Spur/ 30 Pinion ratio is good for speed runs, but not in 132ft drag racing. You'll run out of track before your motor peaks.

>> Lim spool spur is also available in a 39T or 29T. Option parts. U may need to have these on hand also, to get it dialed for max trap speeds within 132ft distance.
Stock Lim comes with 34T FWIW. It may limit your gearing options. Saga Customs may have what you need for better gearing options. Larger Spur. Think 42T.

Wheelie bar is paramount for Drag running.

Great info. Looking at putting together an infraction for drag on 8s. Looking at TP and mamba X. Not sure what motor to get. Also looking at changing the ring/ pinion. Suggestions
