Fireteam Dual motor calibration

Hi! Finishing my dual motor fireteam and i need to calibrate ESCs. But should i connect one ESC to receiver and calibrate it, then unplug it and connect second one then calibrate it? Bit confused here. Also should i cut one Red wire on Y - cable?

Yes that's what I have done, calibrate one then do the other. Idk if it's correct but it makes sense to me. Regarding the wire that's a question that I am looking for aj answer as well. My first dual build I didn't touch it and it ran great and now my second one I haven't done it either but I'm curious to know the difference it would make. I read somewhere that someone said the motors will be more synced without it but I have yet to test anything
