Thanks for the great comparison video.
I'd be very keen to hear your thoughts on how they perform compared to the stock Fortress's. I've recently bought some Duratrax Bandito 2.8 MT's for my Granite for bashing on smooth surfaces.... I recommend them.

I finally ran them yesterday evening. Just a simple bash around the front yard and Street, nothing really exciting. This was with the lock-up Mt Tires. Compared to the Fortress tires, traction seemed better all around. Ballooning was similar. That is, no significant ballooning on 2s, but enough ballooning on 3S to prevent me from doing a top speed run.
The weather has been really crappy the last several weeks, lots of rain not much sun, everything is wet. Still, if I can get some sunshine by about noon today, I'm hoping to go to the local track. It dries out pretty quick, and we did have some sunshine yesterday.
