Replacing a broken fan and cleaning the cars a bit. Oh and thinking of putting the DIY new body panels on the DR8, well just because…

I tested my new paddle tires on the Erevo. I am curious how they will do on the Buulderberg sand. I also decided it might be time for a new body, it should arrive today.

PADDLE TIRES!
I had a set of Louise black paddle tires for the desert buggy in my hands at the LHS last Saturday; they didn't have two sets . And since the Proline Dumont paddle tires for the Mojave were almost EURO 120 for front and rear I was able to resist them.
If they perform good next Saturday on your car (and they probably will) I don't think I can resist much longer

These proline Sling Shot 3.8" werent much cheaper but the way they spray on my home dirt track (up to 1,5m high), i am certain they will do well next Saturday

I don't think it's wise to put them on the Mojave, they work best on an open wheel configuration imho

Almost ready... Well, need to start.
My sons Tracer will get new bearings, as 1 wheels seems hard to rotate.
For the rest they are roughly the same as last time.
Senton is ready to drive, Raptor has new bearings on 3 of the 4 corners. On one the retaining screw in the hub rounded off and put it to the side after that. Still runs though.

ik ga er normaal ook bij zijn met mn kraton en talion exb.
net servo besteld voor de kraton, deze had ik opgeblazen deze week.hopelijk is die tijdig binnen.

Too slow and I can't carry more (already was struggling last time). Also bringing a shovel to make a bigger ramp and was actaully hoping someone could carry that or I need to walk twice.

I am seriously considering to come by quad. I can't carry much that way though. I'll have to strap a basket on the rear and hope to fit 2 big RC's.
But i could easily pendel stuff from the parking to the bashspot.

I am nearly done with the new body for the E-revo as well:

EDIT: are you allowed to drive quads in that area? Do we need to bribe the 'gatekeeper' at the parking lot or is your quad electric?

I have driven in the area before (guess illegally)
I do expect when driven slowly with the pure intend of moving our stuff it should be fine. Bashing with it on the basharea will attract unwanted attention, so thats not gonna happen.

I'll most likely bring the "bolderkar" with me again, so the shovel can be placed in there.

Glad you are joining, the more the merrier! Looking forward to see those Dumont paddles, I’ve been looking at those for quite some time now and had them in my hands in the LHS last weekend. But then I thought “I already have 6 sets of wheels for the two cars, so I don’t actually need them”, how stupid of me.
