Yep another build thread😂 just picked up a Limitless 😍 will be running a TP 4070 1750kv motor. Start on the stock Hoons until I'm hitting 120's-130's then go to the BSR's I picked up(purple). Will be putting the MMX8S in from my Typhon GT and also the radio link RC6GS V2. For now just a spektrum 6s servo. Already removed a battery tray and flipped the motor mount for the long can 4070. Pulled the front air dam thingies off, set droop, shocks and rake. Will be trimming the top of the rear wing down as well. Came with CF CRCU towers also came with aluminum chassis braces again not sure brand, CF @Basherqueen ackerman and RCAWD rear driveshafts.

Glad to see the project getting off the ground.

For what it's worth, you can notch out the battery tray for the motor and then use it to support some fans. This is what I'm doing with my Limitless 4070 build. Gonna try to fit a small 3S pack behind the motor to power the two fans.

Awesome thanks for the heads up! I'll for sure be running my fans on a heat sink unless they won't fit under the hood. But I do like that way I can have the skirts on both sides instead of only the opposite side👍

Dang it! You’re gonna pass me by in no time. I better get my cars together ASAP 🤣🤘🏻 Just kidding. Glad to see you making moves. 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks bro! And again thank you for all the help, input and suggestions!!

Alright she's ready for a test run😍 got the TP 4070 in, servo, MMX8S and RC6GS V2 from the Typhon GT installed and set up. Rear wing trimmed down, Hoons are balanced just need to get them aligned a bit better. Do a few test runs then do the daunting task of trying to get the 20mil diff putty in🤔 but she's ready other than that, can't wait for maiden test runs😍

Well maiden runs were beyond a success today😍😁 took a single bottom push on the steering trim to get her straightened up after I aligned the wheels. Running lowest gearing possible 27/34 on 6s and ran 102mph consistent on first two passes ever, even ran higher than the speed calculator estimated which is a first🤘this thing is definitely going to put up some big numbers this year😁

Definitely thinking the TP 4070 is a 1850kv based off the log.
1850kv X 19.8v = 36,630 RPM second pass log not pictured was 36,700 at Max. 1700kv X 19.8v = 33,660

Well got my new RCAWD center driveshafts today and after a fight to get them installed of course I notice the rear is bent out of the package 8 100ths of an inch 🤬 going to run it atleast once as the stock rear is bent the same if not more and flexes a hell of a lot more. Hoping after contacting the seller they will send a new one that's NOT BENT!

Can you lay the rear driveshaft on a flat surface to show the curvature? I’m just curious if the measurements are exaggerated because the pins on the ends are sitting differently in the drive cups. Shame if it’s actually bent that badly!
It's installed now and was a b!tch to get in but pretty positive it's bent that bad as running it at low speed to see it's way bad, worse than the stock one that was in there. Also in the photo it's installed and pic taken when the bend is at the low spot then spin it and then at the high spot of bend, ruler isn't moved at all so I'd definitely think it's a bend and not how the cups sit

Ya I'll eventually order scorched but they are stupid expensive IMO, out of stock and sure it's like a couple month shipping wait from UK also so was hoping these would manage for a while. At least seller got back to me already and is going to send a new one.

Expensive but it worth every penny. Shipping was not so bad to Miami, FL, it took around 10 days.

There is always some "slip" between what the ESC wants the motor to do and what RPMs it actually does. The only way to really know is to put it on a motor KV tester. I found that the TP motors are within 50 KV usually where the stock motors like the BLX 185 are off by nearly 1000 KV. *** Edit 100KV ***

If you have a local race track or know local racers I bet one of them has a tester you could use.

I'm loving these 40mm fans.cheap, thin, strong an move some air.3 would cover entire length of tp4070.just an option if you start running hot.
