I was thinking…
You can probably smell the smoke
Anyways I worked on my servo saver today and the splines were not centered. Ok I know it’s no big deal that is what the trim is for. My question about setting the endpoint. If I set my endpoints now and then have to trim will I lose some steering to one side?
I hope that makes sense

Disconnect your servo horn and zero your radio trim. Then power up the rig and your servo will center. Then reattach the horn at the closest spline you need for center and use the trim to make up that difference.

yep that’s what I do. But if you set your endpoint and then make a trim adjustment or toe adjustment will you be short one way or the other?

Yes, but how much that matters in the real world is up to you.

You can try fiddle with sub trim which moves the endpoint and adjusting the track rod ends to get it perfect. But generally I'll stick the wheels straight, stick the horn on as close to centre as I can get it, run it up the road and dial it in with trim. I'm not racing at the end of the day

My method is to set up suspension (toe, camber) first with the servo centered as much as possible. Then adjust trim on the radio. Trim adjustment shouldn’t affect your endpoints (servo will only move to the degree at which you set it in either direction) but can, as you said, limit direction more on one side if toe isn’t set first.
