ESC blinking red, steers but no Throttle.

I need a little help.
I have a v4 Talion and I think the ESC has gone into Thermal protection mode. I unplugged the batteries and left it for two days and its still in thermal protection mode when I turn the car on again. I used a different radio system but the problem is still there. I tried factory resetting the ESC but it didn't change anything.

Any tips?

Flashing Green if operational is thermal on a BLX185. Flashing Red is a power issue. Fried Mosfets. Why do you say its a thermal problem? It was hot when it failed??
It may be bricked.
Do you have a voltage meter (DVM)?

If its bricked, and less than 2 years old with a valid receipt you might warranty it with HH. IDK.

I did have this same problem with my BLX185 before.

Solution

Remove the Blue motor cable when car is on and put it back couple times.
Turn of the ESC. Now it works like new again.
If not do it couple more times, on and off.
And also with the other cables.
It will start work then.

This happen me two times.
Now i have drive more than 30 packs since last error.

don't worry.
You only need do this strange manual resetting.

If it's blinking red 4 flashes it means the ESC has failed it's self test. Usually means a bricked ESC or shorted motor wires somehow.
