Granite ESC cutting out early?

Hello,

I just got a pair of granite voltage trucks for my kids. One of them dies much sooner than the other. No power to the rear wheels but the steering servo still works. I read that this may be a faulty ESC killing power to the motor to protect the battery? I've tried with two different batteries and the same symptoms occur periodically. Is there a fix for this?

Is the ESC jumper on the nimh mode selection?

Yep my kids Typhon and Senton mega 550s the got for Christmas both do this on brand new 2s lipos even with the jumper is in the correct position. Wonder if there is a way to program the LVC better.

I highly doubt it... but read the threads above about using a voltage alarm and running in NiMH mode
