ESC fan replacement

The stock esc in my felony 6s seems to heat up quick with the stock fan set up

Any suggestions for a plug and play esc fan that will cool the esc better than the stock.

I've used many of RCP fans, mounts, etc. This is a Spektrum 150a specific upgrade to a 40mm fan.

I’d tend to agree. I’ve found on my street rippers with Spektrum systems that too big of a pinion heatsink up the motor too much, and too high of a timing selection heats the ESC up. Unless the batteries are just terrible, low-c junk, that can raise ESC temps, too.
When the system is dialed in well I’ve never had a Spektrum ESC overheat at all with the stock fan.

27 pinion, the one that came with the felony as speed option

I would turn down the timing in the ESC settings if you have not already.

If you want a better fan, rocket makes a 35mm fan that will drop in.

That will definitely get things a bit hotter..also depends on what kind of a basher are you???..are you trigger finger happy all the time???? many things can factor into your electronics heating fast .
I would suggest if you don't want to lower your pinion down by a few teeth ,then let your electronics cool off by giving them a break every so often
And keeping a close eye on your temps ..as mentioned a better fan is recommended..double fans on the motor .bigger fan on the esc ,you can double up on them also if you like ..

I’m powered by two 3s Yowoo 150c 5500mah they seem to be pretty good for speed run. I’m thinking of two HRB 120c 7200mah as back up

Ok I’ll update the timing, any set number?
I changed my diff fluid to 500k if that is the blinker fluid

looking into this unit, just in case, also will limit runs so I don’t toast esc.

Checking on this fan and changed timing from 22.5 to 18.75 (that’s the next slower timing)
