Checking on this fan and changed timing from 22.5 to 18.75 (that’s the next slower timing)
Not sure why Arrma does that with the Spektrum ESC’s. I pretty much knock the timing down to almost zero and get my results with good gearing and punch set in the middle. The speed pinion is meant for individual speed runs, not bashing. You’re pulling too many amps with that setup and taxing the ESC way more than necessary.

What is your amp suggestion for speed run

You can’t monitor them with a Spektrum ESC. If you pull more than usual the ESC will overheat, and if you surpass the limiter with a handful of throttle all at once then the ESC will cut intermittently. Smooth throttle input on a single pass, or maybe two and you won’t have any issues. Bash with the speed pinion and you’ll have problems, especially as the weather warms up and you start getting hot days.

No bashing, just straight runs. Also thought of using one 6s 6000 100c HRB
