So a 3 wire will run on channel one also? In a separate port.(y)
A new one on me. I never owned one, but many others have never noticed an aux 3 wire ST port before.

I circled the 3 wire port in the pic.

Update.....picked up a 1060 esc from my LHS, just waiting on the 3s tx/rx set to show up from Jenny's.

It's alive! I'll have to clean it up and actually mount the new electronics but it functions with the new esc and the new receiver set.

The title is a bit misleading as I know what my options are, I guess I'm just looking for input from what others have done in my situation.

The esc on my sons Voltage is failing. HH will send me one under warranty...sometime in December if I am lucky.

What is a decent transmitter/receiver setup as well as esc I can use as a replacement? I don't need anything over the top, my son is 5 and the current power level of this car on a 2S lipo is more than enough for him. I was looking at the goolrc sruff on Amazon as it's available rather quickly.
literally anything 3s. Hell an xl5 and a 12t motor will pop wheelies like nothing
