Big Rock ESC Wire snapped

So this happened, wire has broken where the solder stops where it is most at risk of fatigue. Seems the weight of the capacitors on the cable flapping around is bad - who would have thought! and the wire clips Arrma put by the drive shaft are useless of course.

So now I have this, which will hopefully stop it happening again. When I get some appropriate wire I might lengthen them so I can strap the capacitors to the dirt guard at the front.

Others might like to look at preventative measures before it happens.
 
That looks like something warranty should cover 🤔
Maybe, it is a design fault, but could also be labelled wear and tear - shake a piece of wire enough times at is will snap at the joint. Given how we use these cars it is hard to stop anything breaking and it can be hard to know where the line should be drawn. The car has seen a fair bit of use now so personally I'd rather fix it myself with some longer wires to fix the design fault at the same time than send it back for repair and have time without the car and the design issue to remain afterwards.
