The motor is on as well as the remote control, however the car won't go forward, it simply squeals when you try to go forward or backwards. It is not a mechanical sound, but rather almost like a warning beep or squeal. My son hadn't hit anything, so not sure what triggered this issue. The car does respond to the steering inputs though, it will turn left or right, just won't go. The car is an Arrma Typhom 3S
 
Seems like something is blocking the spur and/or the pinion. Take out the power module (The 2 tabs where it says "pull"). The screws on the module are 2.5mm Hex. There are 3. Take them out and I bet you there are probably rocks or dirt in there. Once you do clean everything out and put tape over the bottom of the power module hole. That's where the dirt most likely came from. Good luck!:D(y)
