I finally had time to install my exb super basher front bumper this morning before she ever sniffed a lipo. It is actually pretty simple and straightforward once you look everything over carefully. I appreciate you guys knowledge guiding me. through this project. Here’s few pics of it installed ok. thanks

thanks. It’s really easy but I wouldn’t even attempt it without MIP hex drivers. Hardest part was waiting almost a week to drive it while sourcing all the needed hardware. thanks

Nice!! Here’s my daughter & I putting my EXB SUPER BASHER BUMPER to a little bashing. It came out fine after a few good cartwheels 🤣
And dam if “the yellow wing” did survive too!!
Me & the kid(17yr old) had a bunch of good laughs 😊 🤘🏻🤘🏻

What hardware/screws were required? I have a Typhon 6s coming next week, as well as the same EXB bumper.
3x12mm countersunk screws
3x16mm counter sunk screws
4x16mm countersunk screws
I ordered mine from tower hobbies. They said that’s all I need and they were right. lol
The 3 mm screws come in packs of 10. The 4mm comes in packs of 4. You have plenty of spares after installation. Make sure you have some quality 2 and 2.5 mm hex drivers like MIP or installation will be a pita. It was easy with the proper tools though.
All of the screws thread into untapped plastic so don’t over tighten them and don’t use any loctite either. good luck

Thanks. Yep...have MIP drivers. Learned my lesson in the beginning after I stripped a few screws.
They were recommended here by our fellow members and are extremely good quality. thanks
Free installation advice for you since I don’t have the means to make an installation video.
remove the two screws closest to the front on the bottom of the chassis. Remove the stock joke of a bumper. Iinsert the exb bumper mount unit in its place, orientation will be obvious once you look at it, re-install the two screws you just removed to hold the exb bumper mount securely in place. Next you can install the bumper using the appropriate hardware then install the spring withe the necessary hardware. It’s super easy. good luck

Thanks. Just ordered all the hardware!!
No problem bro. The 6sv5 typhon is awesome. If you have a grass yard you won’t need a mower. lol Just use the typhon. I spent 25 minutes doing laps in my front yard this morning and I see a racing line developing.it will roast the tires on concrete when my battery is fresh. It doesn’t wheelie as much as my son’s 3s typhon probably because the 6s weighs 7 pounds. Mine is bone stock but i may play with the esc punch setting for more donut and wheelie powet💪

Once the bumper mount is secured. Install the actual bumper.. there are 5 screws that go through the bottom side. The back two are 3x16mm and the front 3 are 4x16mm. Next install the spring. There are four screws that hold it in place. The back two are 3x16mm and the two that attach the spring to the bumper are 3x12 mm. It’s that simple. good luck

The wing is from a company called Ofna.
It holding up better then the stock 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I know Ofna they were a rebrander and went the way of the Dodo, do you know who the OEM of it was? Hong Nor or Hobao? Or what model it came on?
