Fake Castle motors?

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a Castle 2200kv motor, I looked on ebay and there are loads of really cheap new ones, all from differen't places/shops in China. Are these knock-offs? Or CC clones?

If they are coming from China then they are likely a counterfeit. I would be very cautious of items on eBay unless they are being sold by a known seller. Castle Creations posted this blog post a few years back acknowledging the counterfeit issue.

email Castle [email protected] with a link to the eBay page. they will tell you yay or nay and get the fake seller off of eBay to protect others from their garbage fake motors.

yes, there is fake stuff, not only on Ebay but also in the hobby stores.
