So I got two 40 mm fans on several trucks and I notice that when I apply throttle they go way down in RPM. It also happens when I land a jump. I’m running on a separate lipo as well. Is there any way to stop this?

If running your motor fans on a dedicated LiPo there is no reason for them to slow down when you apply throttle. It should be impossible, as the fans are completely separated from your propulsion packs, ESC, and receiver. Unless I’m missing something, yeah…that should be impossible?

I agree but they definitely do it. Maybe the motor and ESC create some kind of resistance. I can hold it and they don’t stop but they definitely slow down 50% or more. They’re Hyperflow fans so they are pretty loud. The way I bash the fans need to blow because I ain’t off the throttle much. LOL 😂

Even if that scenario was theoretically possible I’d doubt it. Certainly not resistance. Interference maybe, but even that is a big stretch. Your cables aren’t all wrapped around your other cables, are they? If they are separated and the wiring is clean, I got nothing.
Maybe Neil deGrasse Tyson could chime in?
