I carry a sig p365 everyday, everywhere. Stock sig night sights are great I find them very easy to pick up in the daylight. Before that I carried a Glock 43 for awhile but the sig just takes the cake on trigger and sights. Plus more rounds. My winter carry or my “go to war” gun is my Glock 19. I put a trijicon rmr on it with trijicon suppressor height night sights and an inforce weapon light. I love 9mm ????????

No serious guns for me due to UK gun laws as a Scotsman. I've had quite a few air rifles and pistols though.

My first was a lethal GAT when I was 12 years old :D
A meh El gammo rifle... Had a few BSA? break barrel pistols, a BSA airsporter S (loved that one)
A Weirauch hw45. pistol, a BSA Superten which was a front heavy precharged with custom walnut stock.

My favourite and last airweapon was a FX Verminator 10 shot repeater precharged, it was by far my most accurate rifle and once did a 1" diameter 10 shot group at 100 yards. That might not sound that impressive to you guys that used to far higher velocities and extremely flat trajectories but when you have a sub 12ft/lb power limit and trajectory, its pretty impressive.

No more air weapons for me now that the UK gun laws have changed again. You need a license for a sub 12ft/lb air rifle now! pffff!

Great post guys.. My edc is a sig p365, love the feel of it, night sights. considered the Glock 43 but chose the sig. I have a couple 1911's great pistols. shotguns, Ar15 ect i just enjoy shooting.

Hmm my favorite gun.... Ruger LRPR in 6.5 creed, or my Savage axis .338 Lapua.... I would have to go with the 6.5 though just because its cheaper to shoot.
I do however love my ruger nm blackhawk in .357/9mm and my Henery .357 lever gun, just need an old dreak open shotty so I can start shooting 3 gun
I absolutely love my Ruger Precision in 6.5 Creedmore beautiful platform for sure.

very pretty, mine is the more deadly color, and has a can on it..... there is a company here in my town that specializes in tuning these to a t.... and not a bad price for what you get.... just a little under 2 grand with a tuned trigger, some bolt work, and they do something to the stalk.... and then they put some optic on it and sight it in to hit paper at 500 yards (they will dial it in to hit a coffee scaucer at 1000 yards for you with video evidence, along with the target)

Sounds great, if you don't mind send the info over and I will use them on one of the other ones I have.

Sweet thanks

I own 4 handguns and a shotgun. For the majority of my life I lived in NY and it was very hard to get a pistol permit. For those not familiar with NY gun laws, you need a pistol permit in order to own a handgun. Depending on the county you live in you are either issued a full carry or a limited carry. The application process takes over a year. I started it several times and then gave up.

A few years ago I moved to CT, which is also pretty tough on guns. However obtaining a carry permit is much easier so I decided to apply. It took about 3 months and I was issued one.

I'll be honest and admit that I don't carry often and the biggest reason is my proximity to the NY border. I have property in NY as well as family and if I am carrying and need to go to NY, I would need to store my gun back at my CT house. NY does not reciprocate with any other state (nor does CT). It's automatic jail time if caught with a unlisenced handgun in NY.

So my carry weapon is the Glock 19, simply because I am the most proficient with it. That said, it is not my favorite. I prefer shooting any of the other 3. If I had to pick one it would probably be the Smith & Wesson .357 magnum.

It's such a badass little revolver. I love the way it feels and I would definitely consider it as a carry weapon.

My other two I consider to large to carry. The Sig is the P229 Equinox which can be chamber in either .40 Cal or .357 Sig depending on which barrel you have in. I've shot both and really like the .357 Sig. I think it's a really sharp looking handgun too.

I also really like Colt 1911 45. It is the competition series and it shoots really well. I love the grips and the fluorescent sights. It's another sharp looking gun.

For home defense I keep my shotgun nearby in the bedroom. It's a Remington 870 Express Magnum.

Oh, this is my IWB carry holster.

Bickety, well spoken and thank you for helping me to understand NY gun laws.
Not being from the area and never going there I hear speculation and rumors but not fact.
Awesome selection of firearns.
I have a Smith mdl. 29 that is a .357 and it is a real pleasure to shoot
A couple of deer and a fair amount of ground hogs have fallen to it for sure.

I’m lucky that Ohio is an open carry state. ??
How is it trying to acquire a CPL?
It is good that you can at least open carry without breaking any laws.

It’s just a matter of time to get a CPL/CCW. Take a class, do some range time, take a test, and voila. I think they shortened the class time a few years ago and it’s scary easy now. I really think noobs like me should be required to take a more extensive safety and proficiency class, but it’s hard to say who’s a noob or not. My first purchase was actually my safe. Then I went to a range to try a few models. Loved the Mod 2 in my hand. I tried a few other models, but the Mod 2 felt like it was molded for my hand. The only slight issue I have is the mag release is a little far for my thumb. I have to reach for it more than I would like, but I’m not carrying and really only go to practice with it to try and become more comfortable with it since I didn’t grow up shooting. It’s never too late to start I guess but I’ve got some making up to do. ??

JDilly, is there an extended mag release button available that would help, or get with a buddy (hint, hint) that has a machine shop in one of his pole barns and make one.
What about something like this that would give a little larger button area, would this help?
We could disassemble and reassemble with this in place in 20 to 30 minutes and no permanent change to your weapon.

Yeah that’s possible. Looks like the 9mm version was discontinued there. Wonder if there was a fitment issue?
