I am probably going to go with a Castle Mamba Monster X 8s with the newer 1520 motor for my Felony. Just wondering what pinion/ spur would work with this for bashing and separately what ones for high speed?

I have the MMX8s and 1520 1650kv in my M2C Kraton and I run 24 pinion 50 spur and it hauls butt, I’ve never had a problem with overheating BUT I do run the yeah racing dual setup. The highest temp I’ve gotten the motor was in the 160s and that was me full throttle for like 10 minutes. If I had to guess how fast it goes would be something in the 55-65 range, my kraton 6s with the setup goes faster than my Typhon 6s with a 18 tooth pinion.

The motor is 41.6 mm and this says 40.8 mm. I figure it will fit but just making sure...
