@BashingBrian - I know what you mean..I was thinking the same thing as soon as I finished it ..it’s just so easy to get carried away with the flames .
I’ll definitely scale back the amount of flames on the next one

You obviously have a gift so I hesitate to even mention anything critical, but here goes. I would use a touch of white on the flame tips to add contrast. And the rear needs .... something.

Looks killer! I would rock it! In reference to the comment about less flames, maybe if you brought the black in the rear forward more to maybe near the center of the roof. Basically around mid car you would start tapering off the flames and fade into the black. I'm not all being critical, it looks amazing, but if you looking for a variation with less flames that might be an option. i'm not sure less flame density in the front is needed, just fade it out sooner. Nice work!

I like the side flames a lot because they kinda follow the body lines more so to me they look more alive. The top flames look amazing but since it's flat and flames are very uniform in size it doesn't stand out as much as the sides. Take that with a grain of salt coming from a guy with zero painting experience lol.
