Although there are several threads on this topic I can't seem to locate the following question.

QUESTION: Without changing the diff to accommodate a different rear wheel size. Is there an option outside of the Hoons stock wheel?

I'm not concerned about the compound. I simply want to know if there are other manufacturers out there offering a 1/7 or 1/8 wheel option that meets the height size.

Tire: width: 53mm - height: 107mm
  • Inner Wheel bead diameter: 3.27" (83mm)
  • Outer Wheel bead diameter: 2.95" (75mm)

Follow up question:
If there are options for the correct height, do I need to be concerned with the tire width?

Does GRP offer a 107mm tire?

I searched and searched to no avail. Found a few that were wider or very close. But did not use hex.

Looks like this is the only option for now. I'll look at doing this and see how it runs with the same size tires.
No, all GRPs are 98mm diameter unless you move up to the 1/5 GRP which is likely too wide and certainly not a direct bolt on with its unique square shaped wheel hex.

Your best bet would be to use a Kraton rear carrier plus another 3.3 rear diff and run 4 of the same size tire.
Okay, watched the video. So, what is involved with the diff update. Apologies, as I'm a newbie and I'm not sure what I have to do regarding the 3.3 references.

Don't forget that note about needing to have the front and rear diffs the same.
You should be able to pickup a Typhon / Limitless/ infraction differential
Need a 2nd front diff
or 2 diffs from another 6s model

Correct, you can try some other breakers on eBay like this one

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Arrma-Typh...032300?hash=item1c691473ac:g:vjwAAOSwSXFa01eb

You will either need a front diff and pinion to match the existing front. Or buy 2 Typhon diffs and swap both. Perk to this is you could sell the highly desired Felony diffs online.

You can not use a diff from the typhon or v1 infraction.. that will not work.. it must be from the felony or the v2 infraction.. they are completely different gear sets...?

Edit) well you could if you buy 2 of them.. ✌

@Camaroboy383 is correct. I was under the impression the front diff on the Felony was 13/43 (3.307 ratio), but it is not.
It is a 42 T or 45T diff depending if you want to match the front or rear diff. You would need the pinion and diff. I'd recommend the 3.21 ratio setup which will help keep the motor temps down.

option 1 https://www.arrma-rc.com/products/ARA311018/30/1/ALL/ALL/ALL/ALL (14/45) 3.21 ratio
option 2 https://www.arrma-rc.com/products/ARA311016/30/1/ALL/ALL/ALL/ALL (15/42) 2.8 ratio

You could as an option 3, buy 2 matching 6s diffs from another model like the Typhon and then sell your Felony Diffs.
Given that its new and not online on sites like eBay you could likely get 2x the $$$ for them compared to the cost of getting the Typhon diffs.

Lots of options, hopefully I didn't confuse you too much.

I need to buy a Felony and sell off all the parts that are unique to this car. I could be RICH! ?

I was just thinking the same thing! All kinds of them in stock over this way

That is ridiculous. I can't imagine paying double for something just because there is a wait.
Dang that is crazy. I have a 3 sets ordered weeks ago. Sell instead of using them? At that price why not.
I also, have them ordered but imagining they will not ship for 6-8 weeks. And at that point, there will be availability.

Getting confusing.
Let's say I want to match the front. Which one do I get, 42 or 45?

Based on the exploded view it looks like the ((15/42) 2.8 ratio), correct?

Okay, so here is what I've FINALLY gathered.

I can replace the rear diff with the following:
https://www.arrma-rc.com/products/ARA311016/30/1/ALL/ALL/ALL/ALL

And these are all of the parts. correct. Now, do I need to deal with offset to run the front size wheels/tires in the rear?

Yes gp5 ring and pinion.. the cup is the same so you can bolt it right onto the rear cup you have now...

And yes.. use kraton/outcast rear hubs and axle stubs..

Whew!
Man, you would think this would be out on the internet as a simple solution for people that want to run the same size and not wait for the manufacturer.
Should I have purchased the Infraction? Don't answer that, I love my choice even if I have to be gentle on the tires to start.
