Granite First bash with the v2 Granite 3s BLX in a while

So big thanks to Horizon Hobby for the free slipper assembly to get my granite back up and going!

Had to cut the v2 input shaft down as the new v3 slipper takes a shorter input shaft with the new design.

Anyways got everything put together, at least I though..... and went for a good bash. Ended up not tightening my motor mount screws being in a hurry and ate the spur gear. Still surprised it held up through the bash and went out in the driveway pulling wheelies after. Had a new spur so was 15 min fix and good to go! Man I love this little beast of a truck, double backflips ALL DAY!!

How long did you have to wait for the slipper? I still haven’t received one for the warranty claim that was approved back in July.

Did they ship you a slipper? If so what does the tracking information say? USPS seems to be "losing" quite a few shipments lately.

They sent me an order number before I had an account, so now I don’t know how to check the status of the order without sending them another email.

They should have sent you an invoice - it would have come from: Horizon Hobby Invoice <[email protected]>

There will be a pdf invoice attached to the email that has the tracking number on it - track it on USPS.com

@bashingpumpkins I got it in less than a week. Also was for customer satisfaction as they had poor communication with saying they shipped me 3 replacement parts and in fact they only sent 1 cause others are out of stock. So I complained and they gave me a free BLX185 ESC and a replacement slipper assembly for my Granite 3s BLX. I'd email and say something they are pretty good about taking care of customers.
