Typhon First run of my Typhon 3s on 4s.

I had upgraded my Typhon 3s with a Surpass 3670/2850 motor, BLX 130A ESC, and Arrma CNC steel geared diffs some time ago, but I never ran it on 4s until this morning. I put in a Spektrum 4s 5000mah 100c battery I had left unused from another vehicle, and I got a quick couple of passes in on the street in front of my house.

The Typhon 3s on 4s is awesome: I was unable to get to full throttle because of traffic, but what speed I did get was amazing!

This was more of an experiment than anything else: I plan on running my Typhon on 3s most of the time, but it was great to see what it can do with the proper upgrades.

Nice. I have that same motor and have considered pumping 4S to it. I’m worried about the high kv though.

The temps were okay?

I didn't run it long enough to check bring out the temp gun and check the temps. I will be doing more testing later: if it gets too hot I will keep running it on 3s.

Surpass says my 3670/2850 motor is good for 2-4s.
