Guys, just wanting to show off my new shell. Just finished putting on the decals, was up until 3am painting last night. The red is the Metallica Red by Tamiya.
A good note, to fit this well. I swapped the front and rear body mount post. The true rear are taller and wider, the front come a bit more narrow and shorter. Perfect. Because at least with this Pro-line 2019 Silverado, the true fronts put in the rear align to the shell perfectly. And the front being taller with the rears helps clear alot of the potential rubbing. I did remove a tad more than a quarter inch of the front wheel wells.
The window's black trim was almost impossible.
Got into the hobby 2 months ago now, got the Granite BLX, side graded it into a Senton, and now the shell. It will be hard to let this loose on the track, but I will just get to do another colour next time XD
