The Kraton tires are pretty bad. I switched to the tires off the Outcast. The Backflips are much better.

In my Kraton build I am running 60/200/30k diff oil front/center/rear.

In my senton build i installed 60/500/60k diff oil front/center/rear.

Are there any good videos to remove and put heavier diff fluid on center diff?

Shim the diffs also if haven’t done that:

Mugen 0206 shim set includes all of the shims required besides the thin shim on left side of bearing which is Tekno:

I had to use 2x TEKNO 13x16x.1mm, Diff Shims (TKR1222) on the left crown gear bearing side left output. There were none that came installed from the factory like my v2 Kraton did; which was 1x on both front and rear diffs on the left side:

TEKNO RC LLC 13x16x.1mm, Diff Shims (10)

I use 2-1, 2-1 method behind each set of the planetary gear cross sets.

You can put a shim in the front and rear diffs inside between the bearing and input shaft/pinion with:

Kyosho KYO96773 8x12x0.2mm Shims

@Rich Duperbash has a good video of process:

@Thomas P also has a good video of process:

Here's a simple fix for ballooning on Talion:

Duratrax X-Cons (mine are C2), grabbed a set last week on sale at my LHS and tried them for the first time yesterday, great set of tires/wheels, 6S run on road, couldn't hardly even see any peak when it went by me, great stability and traction in grass.

So much improved from the stock Katars, or the Kraton tires/wheel I had on it at one point.

Size on the ones I picked up are very close to stock size also. They are pretty soft, the nubs wouldn't probably last long on the street.

Take the diff apart and use little container with naptha and a toothbrush to break down/remove the old oil. Then rinse it in water and dry it before installing the new new oil.

I run 50/500/50 in my outcast running 4S. I could probably get away with 300k. My bashing buddy runs the same in his talion to calm down front tire ballooning. He runs 6S though. We both run proline 3.8" trenchers.
