Had a chance of a whole 10 minutes.
Decided to try the axial out.

Axial's (and crawlers in general) fun...and addicting. Currently working on finishing up my Capra. Doing a 2.2 conversion and a few other mods. Stretched the wheelbase tonight, getting ready to lower it with pen-springs in the shock towers. Waiting on tires and anti-foams, and a couple of Reefs Triple7's.

Awesome rig!

Took out the deadbolt for a quick trail run to test out the new tire compound. This "crawler" doesn't really do much rock crawling, it's pretty much a trail rig...mostly runs in a dry riverbed at the farm with a ton of really soft sand and steep dirt inclines. Normally I run Predator compound (if running Prolines) on rock crawlers, but since this sees softer surfaces, I figured I'd give the stiffer G8 compound a try. They did really good...I'm not sure I'm sold on this tread pattern for the sand...once they wear out, I'll probably try more of a mud tire than a rock tire, but I was happy with the way the tires flexed. These also have 3brc "anti-foams" inside.
