We have a brand new Fury BLX on 2S.

At the first test drive everything seemed okay. Until after a few minutes the car just stopped.
The wheels still followed the steering movements from the transmitter, but no throttle.

After 10 seconds or so the car just continued if it never happened.

No blinking lights or what so ever. No overheating or faulty lipo (also brand new).

This happened a few times, quite annoying in the middle of a friendly race.
When I looked closer it was just if the motor was glitching as they say (cannot get the timing correct to spin the anchor of the motor). I cleaned the contacts, but no improvement.

Of course we contacted Arrma, but I never heard of this problem before.
Anyone had this?

I had it happen to my granite blx same poop. Sent it back they sent a new one, it never went back in the truck. Once you upgrade you will forget about the stock electronics.

probably just warranty it... I have had mine just randomly not work, but in your case yours starts back up... mine didn't. I received the warrantied esc and it was set a a very weird mode where everything made it have low voltage, I called in yesterday and was able to get the guy to help me fix that... it runs well now

seems like a faulty esc... it happens to those with the blx 180 too

Thanks justatree ;)
I send it back already.
Let's see how fast it will be shipped back.

I have my BLX ESC for two years, and I still love it.
Is has been submerged several times,
it has been running on 3S 5,0A for many times,
mud covered and dust preventing the cooling fan to turn, which caused it to overheat..

But it still works fine.

And I also am happy with the transmitter and receiver, they work well.
Servo...they should be supplied with metal gears right in the box

I believe the new blx vehicles have metal gears now

You are absolutely right, see the comparison here on the official Arrma website: http://www.Arrma-rc.com/vehicle-comparison/AR102627/AR102626/AR102622

However the new Fury is not for sale in Europe (that I am aware off)

I think the distributor is still selling the 2014 stock before new once are supplied.
Only the Granite BLX is new for sale, but a lot more expensive than the previous BLX models.

But a nice upgrade!

small update: the RC shop drove with the car flawlessly two 2S 5000mAh packs until the loop cut-off came in.

So the ESC seems to be innocent.
the new suspects are the brand new lipo and the brand new charger...

Difficult to find the error this time
