gear ratio with terrain crushers

I bought a couple HobbyStar 8000 mAh 100c 11.1v 3s batteries for my fazon. Complete tire destroyers! Finally got some Terrain Crushers, but my fazon seems much slower at top speed. I'm assuming it is because without the tire ballooning, it is causing a much different gear ratio(running stock gears)? Anyone experienced this before with the terrain crushers? If so, any suggestions?

I was debating whether or not to buy terrain crushers for my e revo but all the reviews I saw made them out to be god awful. Are they doing any of the things people say to you? Anyway, I’d put a few teeth extra on the pinion, and check temps, and go from there.

they are the first tire that didn't immediately rip off the rim with my setup. very hard tire though, so you give up some traction.
