I want to make sure this is possible an am I looking at this right.

Or should I do this. Pro an cons of both options.

I want to keep temps down but not Scarface air control when I jump it.

the largest factory spur gear is 50. If you are putting larger tires on it i'd drop to 13 or lower if 15 is stock. The spectrum/blx system won't like pushing those large whees/tires with a very large pinion on it. Also you'll want to check temps for sure. I used some belted 3.8 badlands on a kraton once and they felt big and clunky. I like the 4s outcast backflips on my talion for off road.
