what kind of tires do I need for snow?

The original tires are very good in the snow.
But, the rubber is easy to tear. !!!
The Duratrax is a similar tire but the rubber is more quality.

Screw the bearing holder down as hard as you can for the center driveshaft support. It’s doesn't look like it’s fully seated and you r driveshaft looks a little bowed. You really have to lean into it to get it to seat all the way down.

It looks very fun on the snow ??

I really like this truck.
With 2.8 "tires, we can explore other avenues.
Now it's easy to ride in different places to have fun with the Senton BLX. :)

I protect the underside of the truck with Gorilla Tape.
It is easy to replace and protect rust screws with snow.
It allows to slide better on the mountains of snow. :)

I have just received Duratrax 14mm and Pro-Line 12mm tires.
Duratrax Lockup MT, should ride well with the Senton BLX for the snow. :)
Duratrax Sidearm MT is more for the summer in the street. (y)
The Pro-Line MX28 is for my Granite BLX truck. (y)
I already had Hex for MX28 tires.
I have another HEX on order.
Arrma DBOOTS MT 14mm, is excellent for snow too. (y)

I tested Friday night with the new tires in the fresh snow.
Pro-Line MX28 tires are well suited for soft, thin snow.
By cons, I find the tires a bit heavy.
I will do other tests with these tires.

Duratrax Lockup MT 2.8 "tires really have a lot of grip on the snow.

At the moment, the tires work well in the snow... :D

Wow! Duratrax (LOCKUP MT 2.8") tires are excellent in the snow.:cool: (Senton BLX)
Sometimes it puffs into a ball but I'm on the snow and in (3S 90C) constant. (y)
A lot of power all the time. It's crazy but fun.
The Pro-Line (MX28 2.8") are good tires for deep snow and it's fun to cross the snow banks. :)(y) (Granite BLX)
Yvan :)
Video coming! :)

Granite BLX - Pro-Line MX28 2.8" Tires.
Unfortunately, there is not much choice of HEX on the net for 12mm.
I am happy, I already had HEX of 12mm for my wheels, but it is no longer available on the net.
It takes a minimum of 1 inch the Hex for the wheel to rub.
Yvan :)
